Celtic style octave mandolins

A new range of octave mandolins has been develloped in 2024. These are archtops and are the big brothers of the mandolins I build with highest quality tonewoods, deep carved recurves to the front and back, radiused fingerboards and hand cast tailpieces (new design!). The lower G course can be usison or, preferred, octave giving a clear resonant sound for tune playing. Some soundclips are on the home page.
